In an effort to free ourselves from the effects of
some paralyzing potion we'd swallowed,
we made small talk with the people around
us. We wired money, we paid our bills,
that sort of thing. We're so glad it worked out for
the good people. We were there, we saw it,
we were one of them. It was my age
that did me in but I'm so much closer
than you'll ever know.
