Yeah that was a cool song. reminds me of The Fall (the guy's vocal delivery mostly). i can see why they have been rockin your world. i'll have to check them out.

I had heard about the fire. that was awful. i sure wish i had some photos to send but i have only memories. if only i had had those doctors implant that usb port in my brain like they wanted to then i could access that stuff. or were they doctors?

actually in addition to memories i also have all the Drunken Boat CDs and that 7-inch split you did with Geezer Lake.

take care

I think it's because of the Mark E. Smith (The Fall) sound that I like it. Doesn't he sound like he has a bad headcold, or a little like the Edith Ann character from Laugh In. Their latest record is even more brilliant, by the way.

It's a perfect song to listen to while running around Brooklyn.

yeah that headcold thing is true...i thought it was me but i'm glad you noticed it too. it was kinda bizarre. does he always sound like that?

that reminds me also that I need to get more records by The fall too. I need to go vinyl shopping!

He doesn't sound like that much at all actually.

The Fall, ahh yes. Anytime, anywhere, except for the soundtrack to a car commercial -- which they did.

There's some great footage of them on youtube, by the way -- I've posted some here I believe. Mr. Smith is glorious in all his toothless drunken poetic splendor.
